Chapter 13: Seperate Paths

Character Supplemental Guide

By  Fali

Murgorath:

This is not the Microwave's SaGa's Murgorath in anything but appearance.
Where the SaGa's Murgorath attempted to help people in life, this Murgorath
considers himself the Lord of Fate and manipulates several different
dimensions with several different versions of Usenet. He twists and mocks
the lives of people, causes wars, causes natural disasters, and generally
muddles with life. What he does not realize yet is how powerless he actually
is. While he is powerful in comparison to many magicians, he is not the
demi-god he percieves himself to be. Ragnarok, the Sir of Fate, has secretly
enforced everything Murgorath has "caused" to happen for millions of years.

The causes for Murgorath's current existence are unknown, as is his name to
most people. His floating castle floats above an empty Usenet of another
dimension, which makes him difficult to reach by most portals.

You may be wondering who the heck Fulgore, Kuibob, and Darlon are. They are
members of the MRF Beta of Microwave SaGa lore:

Fulgore:

Original leader of the Microwave SaGa's MRF Beta, he was knighted and given
this title by the warrior Falimortalis. He is powerful with a sword, and
knows a fair amount of magic to boot. He is very impatient with Darlon, but
otherwise usually is well-tempered and good-humored. His current whereabouts
are unknown.

Kuibob:

A member of the Microwave SaGa's MRF Beta, he met up with Fulgore on the
road, and chose to join him in his quest to retrieve artifacts which could
destroy the Microwave. He has enough spells in his memoire to qualify him a
full-fledged magician, but also is talented in swordplay with his two twin
dragon swords. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Darlon:

He is naive, egotistical, silly to the point of being comedic in his
"newbie" style at times, and a member of MRF Beta. Yet, he has a brave,
noble side to him as well, which comes out every once in a while.
Unfortunately, since he knows only the basic elemental spells (Fire, Ice,
Bolt) and (Sleep, Poison), and wields only a basic dirk, this does him very
little good usually. His current whereabouts are unknown

Lord Falconer:

A member of the Microwave SaGa's MRF Beta. He disappeared in alt.evil, and
Fulgore and Kuibob thought he might have gone through a magical portal they
come upon (which instead takes them to Murgorath's castle). He will not show
up in this fic.

If you have any questions about these characters, you can read chapters
about them in the Microwave SaGa section of Chris and Sean's AGFF Web Page.
Or, if you don't have the patience to do so, you can ask me, and I'll give
you a basic runthrough on any other info you might benefit from. For the
most part, though, I'd say you know as much as you really need to know to
integrate them into a chapter. :-)

One more thing: You cannot kill them in this fic. Cuz they got places to go
in the SaGa. Eventually they will have to leave the Clone Wars Universe to
go back to the SaGa Universe, in alt.evil. They also cannot be permanently
maimed (eg. lose a leg, lose an arm, lose an eye). However, other than that,
feel free to do what you will with them. Fulg may or may not join the
Author's list in the near future.

Other characters of interest:

Duke Kain:

While very similar in physical form to the Saint Kain Aron Highwind, his
style is almost exactly the opposite. The Duke, in his own dimension, has
sometimes been known to be a heavy drinker, and he is also known to be a
ruthless war leader who has ordered hundreds of men off to die without a
second thought. After Murgorath discovered his existence and realized that
Duke Kain could cause some pretty good havoc in the Clone Wars Usenet, he
consulted the Duke, told him of this whole other Usenet to conquer, gave him
an army, and a place to start, for the mere price of delivering the 'Spear
Bearer' to him unharmed. Duke Kain's ambitions run to taking over the whole
of the AG Hierarchy in the Clone Wars dimension and linking the two
dimensions by public portal. He is also from another somewhat unknown
dimension and has no connect whatsoever with the Microwave SaGa Universe (nor
does he even know the Saga universe exists).

Guianne, Antoine, Nuuk, Leon, Lehgraia, Zenfandil:

Several more vocal members of the Lunarian Inner Council. The only one among
them with any idea of what really is going on is the secret Wind Goddess
Avatar, Lehgraia. She joins in their conversations frequently, but has not
let on that she and her lover, the Moon God Avatar Erik, not only know where
the true FuSoYa is, but also know how they could destroy the Invaders, and
restore peace. For reason listed above, Lehgraia never has stated why.
Guianne, Antoine, Nuuk, Leon, and Zenfandil, otherwise unimportant people in
history, never thought to ask.

Erik:

Read above. He is a member of the Lunarian Inner Council and the Moon God's
current human form- an Avatar.

The Sun God:

Read above. He quite literally is a God. For further reference see The Legend of the Sun God.

Ragnarok:

He quite literally is a God, just as the Sun God, the Moon God, and the Wind
Goddess are Gods. The only real difference is that His specialty is in
deciding Fates.... and He is a higher level God than the other three
introduced. He is rarely seen by any mortal eyes, and when He is, He usually
is the last thing the said mortal sees. His motives are complicated and
mysterious and no one has any clue what He has in mind when he does things.
In the battle between Light Warriors and the Organization and all its
subdivisions, He is decidedly neutral- all He seems to take an active
interest in is "people following their fates".
