were
defined by the conference of Gilead in apprx. the year 4000. Sent to
observe and interact with the inhabitants of distant AGFF, Dave has
called

Name: Lord Bob
(Not to be confused with Bob Almighty)
(Click
For Lord Bob's Theme "Exodus")
Age: Ancient
Gender: Male
Birthdate: November 17th
Eye Color: Blue
Hair: Silver/White
Place Of Birth: Usenet
Residence: Within the AGFF hierarchy (AGFF and AGFF.Bob)
Ethnicity: Unspecified, looks elvish (Tolkein/Warcraft elvish,
not
6-inch-tall Santa elvish)
Interests: Adventuring. Killing people. Having fun.
Occupation: Lord of a Realm, Adventurer, ex-Knight of Doom
Weapons:
Primary
(that I carry with me): Doomblade (magical Katana, black w/ gold
runes.
Magical Abilities: Can absorb magic and drain life. May also
help strengthen/direct Bob's
spells.
Brief History: Came to life in a wave of unfunneled power, known
as
'imagination' or 'creativity' ran amock on Usenet, undetectably, untill
it
ran into an unknown person/energy mass and created Lord Bob. Note that
Lord Bob is
NOT the ultra-powerful 'creativity' that created him, but an actual
semi-mortal.
Other info: Roughly 6' tall, plus a few inches, Bob wears black
slacks, a black
long-sleeved shirt, and black combat boots. He also has a long cloak,
that
covers him from head to toe, and which has some anti-magic abilities in
addition to being fire-proof. He also has a vest of scale mail, from a
Silver Dragon, that is both strong and complements the cloak(can reflect
a
few spells that hit it, but it's a low chance). Across the back of the
cloak, Bob's Doomblade is strapped in to a scabbard, allowing for easy
reach. It could also be at his waist, though, when he dosn't want the
cloak
impeeded, or the Doomblade within sight.
The cloak also has a hood, which is up most of the time, and which
totaly
hides Bobs face. This helps Bob intimidate people: On one hand, a tall
figure in a black cloak, with nothing visible. On the other, a warrior
with
shining mail, a magical sword, etc.
Bob is an excellant
swordsman, though
with anything ranged(other than spells) he can't do squat. His
collection
of spells includes most of the FFT spells, excluding the Oracle and
higher-level TimeMage and Summoner ones, and Bob doesn't know any from
other
FFs. His magic power (MP) also suffers, and he can't hold out long in a
magic duel without re-charging, through absorbtion or some other means.
He
also has limited telekinesis, fueled by his magic. To make up for the
limited magic(considering he's a top-level Battlemage(Mage/swordsman),
he
also has an unuasual summon- Call 'Mech, where he can summon his
Battlemech.
However, he dislikes using it unless he really needs it. He also tends
to
rely as little as possible on his magic, which is one reason it's not as
good.
Quote: "..." (Stares people down instead of insulting them) or
"Heh. You pansy."

Name: Craxton
(Click For
Craxton's Theme)
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Birthdate: Unknown
Eye Color: Blue
Hair: Brown
Place Of Birth: Slipgates Cave
Residence: A small house somewhere in the Greyshone Forest, AGFF
Ethnicity: Many different races. (His mother's family had a
history of
cross-species relationships.) Roughly half Draconic, half Human, with a
small amount of mooglish blood.
Interests: Unknown
Occupation: Freelance Swordsman. No means of income-
Craxton lives off the land.
Weapons:
The Crystal
KnightSword, a unique weapon with runic capabilities. Also
capable of channeling FF5 Sword magics. Has dragon-claws for
hands.
Knows most of the useful spells in FFdom. Also knows FF7 sword
techniques. A pouch on his belt acts as a miniature "pocket
dimension,"
where he stores a multitude of useful objects, including
materias,
relics, and magicites. (However, it can't hold anything larger
then it's
external volume.) If need be, he can take the form of
DracoCraxton, a
large green fire-breathing dragon (with mooglish facial
features). He
always wears a Prism Pendant beneath his tunic, to ward off
Vanish
spells.
Brief history:
The son of Slipgate and grandson of the great Bahamut, Craxton lived his
early life at his father's home. (His mother died when he was young.)
Shortly after his eighteenth birthday, he and his father had an
argument, and Craxton stormed out of the house, vowing never to return.
Seeking adventure, Craxton went to his grandfather, asking for a quest
worthy of a hero. Bahamut, by use of a device called a "Worldgate," sent
him to an alternate FF6 world. The timeline of this world had skewed
into a tangent due to the presence of a weapon called the Ultron Blade,
which was incredibly powerful because it was able to actually create
energy, in blatant disregard of the laws of physics. Bahamut told
Craxton to retrieve the Ultron Blade- it was "a weapon for a true hero
to wield." Little is known of Craxton's adventures over the next two
years. It IS known that during this time, he met, travelled with, and
eventually fell in love with Celes Chere, who was also searching for the
Ultron Blade. They finally found the Ultron Blade in a ruin where it had
been coupled to the Crystal KnightSword in an effort to control it's
massive energy output. Unfortunately, another man, who's identity is
unknown, got to the blade only minutes before them. A fight ensued,
during which Celes was killed and Craxton severely wounded. Vowing to
avenge his lover, Craxton took the Crystal KnightSword and set out to
find the villian. After cornering his nemesis in the remains of Kefka's
tower, Craxton was able to overcome him using the Crystal KnightSword's
power. The Ultron Blade was now within his grasp, but Craxton couldn't
bring himself to take the weapon that had killed Celes, and so, using
the Crystal KnightSword's Runic power, he harnessed the Ultron Blade's
own power to destroy it. Afterward this incident he left that world and
dissappeared. Five years later, he showed up in AGFF, and built a small
but comfortable house in the Greyshone forest, and basically settled
there. He soon became aware of the Relm conflict and sided,
unofficially, with the Defenders. As things happened he was the only
defender around when a veritable army of Relm clones decended on AGFF
one day. It is at this point that the saga of the Clone Wars begins...
Other info: Craxton has a pair of black leathery wings extending
from his back. When
relaxed, he usually wears them draped around him, like a cape. They are
functional and allow him to fly short distances on air currents. To fly,
however, he must become DracoCraxton. Being two generations removed from
a major demi-deity, he has some small passive psychic abilities and a
large arsenal of magic spells. The full extent of his powers is unknown,
possibly because he has never used them to their full extent. He prefers
to win fights through superior tactics.
Quote: "Brute force is no way to win a fight. Sooner or later,
you'll wind up
meeting someone with more power then you. Better to win by using your
brain."

Name: Slipgate
(Click
For Slipgate's Theme "BigWhale")
Age: 222. Yes, two hundred and twenty two years. Pretty damn old.
Good
thing he's not full human, cause that's WAY past human lifespan.
Dragons live centuries, humans just one, he doesn't know how long he
lives, so he harbors a rather large bit of pessimism about his eventual
death (just happen one day, no point in thinking about it).
Gender: Male
Birthdate: Unknown
Eye Color: Dark brown, close to black. Craxton's mother had blue
eyes, he
inherited that from her I guess.
Hair: Believed to be black, but never shown or seen, though this
may or may
not change
Place Of Birth: Bahamut's cave on the moon, one very interesting
night.
Residence: In the middle of nowhere in AGFF, wherever that may
be. (More on this
in the brief history).
Ethnicity: A half dragon, half human. His mother was Danae DeMaur
(who sounds like
an interesting character but has not been expounded on yet... at least,
interesting to me...). His father was Bahamut the King of Dragons.
Interests: He's quite a closed book yet. We'll find out
eventually I guess.
Occupation: Gainly human pursuits? Pah.
Weapons:
When he's in a "humanlike"
form, he has a strange, shimmering sword.
Not much is known about it, except that it seems to be part of
him, as
it also morphs into dragon-stuff whenever he morphs into his
dragon form
from human, and it reappears whenever he morphs into human form.
He
likes that sword.
Otherwise, he apparently knows all spells from all FF games,
though he
leans toward FF4 and FF6 spells, doesn't commonly use materia.
It is
unknown whether he is resistant to magic spells or not. He can
use all
spells regardless of his form.
Oh, and since in his draconic form he has claws and whatnot,
those
count.
Brief history:
The father of Craxton, the son of Bahamut and Danae DeMaur. Craxton's
mother, Kumanaru Balder, is best described in a quote by Craxton when he
was once asked: "My mother's ethnic lineage is like integral
calculus: insanely complicated and best left alone." Balder is believed
to be a name change from Mayer Baldeison, the last names of a woman long
ago, who ended up living... an eccentric life. The name was changed, it
is believed, to escape scrutiny and remembrance.
They lived in a small house on a beach, Slipgate's attempt to give them
a peaceful life, one that didn't turn out to be in the cards of destiny
for Slipgate or Craxton... or Kumanaru. Kumanaru died of a case of
pneumonia caught too late (at least, that was the conclusion of a
medical exam...).
After Craxton turned 18, but still missed his mother (growing up in a
single parent home, especially when that parent was as inattentive as
Slipgate, wasn't pleasant). They had an argument about something,
probably about how un-parenting Slipgate was and how much he treated
Craxton like crap around him. Craxton stormed out.
The sad truth was, Slipgate loved Craxton, but hadn't the faintest how
to show it or how to parent him, educate him, help him as he grew up.
Craxton grew up well educated anyways, but bitter against his father,
who always seemed to treat him as if he was beneath him, when really it
was just a lack of ability on Slipgate's part to show how much he cared
and how he cared (references: Craxton's history, the conversation during
the fight with Mr. X in Chapter 7).
Slipgate pretty much lost all he had then. Kumanaru dead, Craxton gone.
He eventually just sort of left the old residence and started flying off
in some direction. He kind of ended up in AGFF eventually, and many,
many years later, the events of CW began happening. He wasn't kidding
when he said he had no opinion on Relm at first. He kind of wandered
AGFF, he didn't really live anywhere for those many years, so he didn't
form many ties, nor was he really known. During that long span of time,
Slipgate had met and become friends with Lord Bob, but the truth is that
he hasn't seen Craxton in person since the time Craxton stormed out,
though he did learn of conquests such as the Crystal Knightsword and
Celes (way to go, son!) (note: Please don't take offense, I love Celes
too but I respect women very much, it's just a joke). The time when
Slipgate checked in telepathically with Craxton on his way to the moon
was the first time they had contacted each other in all those years, and
the contact was more of a shock and surprise than either of them let
on. Craxton didn't reflect on it afterwards much since remember he
still was bitter at dad (still is probably). Slipgate's having a toll
taken on him by the fact that even after that mental contact, there
hasn't been a speedy reunion. Maybe there will be, what with the
Mysidian Legend prophecies...
The ironic thing is, Bahamut told Slipgate, after Craxton left on his
quests in the alternate FF6 world and so on in his life, that he could
send Slipgate directly to Craxton, but that it didn't seem that they
were destined to be in each other's company through their life escapades
after all...
Other info: He doesn't have wings of any believable type in human
form, unlike
Craxton. Which is wierd. Also, he doesn't really fly in human form, he
probably can't. But it has never been put to the test. He is a bit of
a strange one. His fighting tactics? Fight. Just fight.
Quote: Sort of a quote, though the parenthetical thing is
there.
"Kumanaru! Kumanaru! Oh Bob, don't leave me Kumanaru!" (Craxton
watching silently, tears beginning to well up in his eyes) A moment
passes, a moment where half of Slipgate's world is crushed. His initial
response: "... Nooo..." "..." "...".
(Little did he know, a few years later, the other half would get
crushed)
That pretty much hit him to the point of his present pessimism. He's
trying to find escape from his internal hell, and seems to have fixated
on Kim fulfilling her perceived role in the legend to do so.

Name: Jonathan Horrocks
(Click
For Jonny's Battle Theme)
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Birthdate: December
Eye Color: Blue
Hair: Dark brown
Place Of Birth: Unknown
Residence: Somewhere in AGFF
Ethnicity: Human White
Interests: Mainly computers and Sci-Fi, but he sometimes does rave mixes
under the name of MTek in his spare time.
Occupation: AGFFSDIAIA Agent
Weapons: Materia Saber, Sword of Kahless and LCM1 hand blaster.
Brief history: In 1982 Earthtime Horrocks established the spy network
called
KCO (then WRR) and worked under the codename of Binder as Hammer's exec
officer. In 1996 KCO was disbanded and he went on to work on the Omega
Project. Working on the project he and his fellow researchers discovered
a
way to bridge the gap between dimensions creating PR or Partial Reality.
Using this new technology Horrocks and some of the others working on the
project managed to create alternate dimensions. In 23.89ji PRUL (Partial
Reality Universe Logtime) Horrocks became a Lieutenant as part of the
exploration task-force to the PRU's (in PRU O2 eventually becoming a
commander in Earth Force). One of the main developers of PR had been
Omakyu,
in 256.43rl PRUL, Horrocks returned to his dimension and a few weeks
later
Omakyu revealed to him where he had developed the PR theory, that place
was
somewhere called Usenet. With the revealing of Omakyu's PR/Usenet
theories a
whole new set of PR's were discovered to exist but the company in charge
of
the Omega Project no longer showed any further interest in the PR theory
and
so cut the funding. Omakyu didn't give up and after further training
Omakyu
sent Jonny off across Usenet. In August 1998 Earthtime Jonny discovered
the
land of AGFF, several months later he was aproached by the AGFFSDIAIA
and
because of his past experiance and abilities became one of their many
agents.

Name:
Griff Arroway
(Click
For Griff's Theme)
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Birthdate: November 19
Eye Color: Blue
Hair: Black
Place Of Birth: Village of Leaf, far from AGFF
Residence: Changes often, mainly hangs around small villages
Ethnicity: Human, white. Nothing special at all.
Interests: Traveling, fencing
Occupation: AGFFDIAIA Agent, as well as being the Master of the Net
Weapons: Crystalis, the Sword of Magic
Brief history: Griff Arroway was born in the small village of Leaf, far
from
any known part of Usenet. His parents disappeared after his birth, and
the
villagers raised him as their own.
Things seemed perfect, until the Empire was once again resurrected in
the
land of Crystalis. The now peaceful lands had few warriors, but dabbling
in
the teachings of the wisemen, Griff left for Fort Shyron, where he was
trained
by the sages there as both a swordsman and mage. In the land of
Crystalis,
one's reach into magic is limited, but Griff managed to learn all the
known
spells of Crystalis (8 total, but these spells come in very handy.)
Griff led
the attack against the Empire at age 14, but the peaceful world frowned
upon
him and he was banished because of the villagers' fear of him.
He ventured into open lands, where he made his way to Usenet. He
immediately made it to AGFF, where he was known as the Crusader for a
short
time (and by about no one,) until he decided to go by his true name, and
added
many spells to his list.
Because of his electronics skills, the AGFFDIAIA hired him as an agent,
and he soon became part of the mainstream line-up, although he listens
to
himself more than authority, and isn't expected to stay in the AGFFDIASA
long
because of his wonderous nature. He's perhaps overly cautious about
revealing
his past, and his hard life has left him all but closed off.
Other info:
Griff's main spell set is the original set from Crystalis:
1) Refresh- Healing spell
2) Paralysis- cause Paralysis via sleep
3) Telepathy- obvious uses, and communication with animals
4) Teleport- Teleport to known places
5) Recovery- Cure status ailments
6) Barrier- Protective shield that deflects all attacks, but cannot be
sustained long
7) Change- Take the form of someone you know (Note: Griff doesn't use
this
spell often, as he thinks it a bit too dishonest, but will use it when
it's
needed.)
8) Flight- Pretty obvious

"Wherever you go, the brightness of your sword shall light your way."
