"Behold my Utility Bumbag!"
Today Batman was spotted again today in London. Seeming to have left Gotham City behind to fend for itself, Batman today scaled Buckingham Palace to protest for better toilet facilities and lower tax rates for the UK branch of the Justice League (JLUK).
- Protesters create a diversion at the front gates of the palace.
- Batman and "Robin" climb over low fence at side of palace grounds while security staff are distracted.
- Batman climbs up a ladder on to the roof of an adjoining building. "Robin" comes down after police threaten to shoot him.
- Batman shuffles from roof along ledge to the edge of the royal balcony, where he stages his high-profile protest.
Seemingly Robin was on vacation this week as he was replaced by one of the members of the band right said Fred who thought it was a protest for Gay rights.

Batman finally called off his protest after 5 hours when Alfred called him for his dinner.
Chester Zoo Shock! (Thursday, September 16, 2004)
Zookeepers were shocked to find that when they came
in this morning all the Penguins were missing.
Neither keepers or the Police could find any clues
at the scene to hint at who the Penguinappers were.
A press conference was called and one reporter asked
if the Police thought the mysterious incident had
anything to do with Batman's lack of vigilance while
he campaigns for the JLUK's toilet facility and tax
rate demands. Police Commissioner Gordon replied
saying that he thought "no super-villain is believed
to be involved in this case at all." Since the press
conference there has been no more news and police
are baffled.

We've much more to do, says Brown

Gordon Brown says Labour can build a Britain which can lead the world by being both prosperous and socially just.
Valuable diamonds stolen in Paris

Thieves have pillaged two diamonds worth about 11.5m euros (£7.82m) from a trade fair at one of Paris' top museums. Experts say the gems may have been stolen by two different organisations and may therefore now be in two different places. Eye witness reports tell of a fight outside the museum between some angry looking men in helmets and a man with an umbrella.
Penguin Mystery Continues

Chester Zoo reported today when keepers arrived in the morning the penguins had mysteriously appeared back to their habitat at the Zoo from where they disappeared from in the first place. Where they've been and what they've been up to is a mystery though. Keepers say they have a strange smell of garlic and onions about them though. Three of the penguins are still missing but the staff seem confident that they'll turn up somewhere.
